In the past couple of days I’ve experienced some frustration and I found release from it in the writing of another blogger. The guy referred to lemmings. I had forgotten about lemmings and how many of the folks we live with here on the planet are simply following the crowd. Maybe they do that out of ignorance or simply fear.
Some people make things happen.
Some people watch things happen.
Some people wonder what happened.
I know that I’m in the first category most of the time. I’m a curious person and I’m not as afraid to try something new as many of my peers. Maybe that’s why I’m a pilot. I know that’s part of what drives me to experiment with open source software. That’s what fueled my study of Linux. Maybe that explains a lot of my life. Don’t be afraid to step out and try something new. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Don’t be a lemming.
