Today, I bought one of those $5 albums at the checkout counter. It’s entitled, “Ladies Got Soul”, and it has some all time soul favorites like Aretha Franklin, Evelyn Champagne King, Gloria Gaynor and Diana Ross. Listening to the album brought back a flood of memories from 20 and 30 years ago. I grew up listening to the Motown Sound. I came across a nice tribute to Marvin Gaye, Paul Williams and Florence Ballard. I thought you might enjoy it also.
