I am Don Watkins, a free and open source software (FOSS) advocate, I am a writer who curently blogs here and also writes for Both.org, Allthingsopen.org and TechnicallyWeWrite. I was a correspondent at Opensource.com for eight years. I am an advocate of public libraries and teach Python programming to children and adults. You can find me on Mastodon, BlueSky and LinkedIn. I have recently been experimenting with Ollama and other large language models. I have been a Linux user for nearly twenty-five years. My daily driver is Linux Mint Cinnamon on an Intel NUC.
