I first read about Professor Bob Sutton’s book about three months ago on Guy Kawasaki’s blog. I had done a Google search on the subject following a particularly painful day at work. When I first encountered the title and the author I was amused, but the more reviews I read I became determined to buy the book, read it and perhaps gain some insight into dealing with troublesome folks in the workplace. I ordered the book about a week ago and finished reading it tonight in just over three days. It was a delightful read and I’d recommend to anyone interested in creating a more civilized workspace. Bob Sutton has his own blog which I have a link to on this page. I’ve enjoyed reading his blog and I think he’s made a real contribution to us all with this book.

It is a very good book with a very provocative title. I recommend reading the book if you’ve ever worked or studied in a situation where you have some abusive people.
